History tells us of many Epic Rivalries, the Montagues vs Capulets, Federer vs Nadal, Steve Jobs vs Bill Gates,

None of these compare however to the eternal conflict of seeing in the dark versus seeing at night. Since time began photopic vision has taken over at dawn with scotopic vision retaking control every night.
