1. Complete Instructional Courses on EURETINA InSight
Members can participate in our range of e-learning courses on
EURETINA Insight, all of which are designed to help ophthalmologists and retina specialists maintain and increase their knowledge and skills in retina science and practice. Upon completion, you gain Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits.
All our e-learning courses are accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). You will need a Standard or YOURS membership to access the CME qualifying courses on
EURETINA Insight.
To claim a certificate of completion for a course, you need to:
-
Complete all units in the eLearning module
-
Achieve a grade of 70% or higher
-
Complete the course feedback form
Once you have completed these steps, you will be given instructions on how to claim your certificate.
Please note that each medical specialist should only claim those credits that he/she has actually spent in the educational activity. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). Only those e-learning materials that are displayed on the UEMS-EACCME website have formally been accredited.
Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) and the American Medical Association (AMA), physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME credit to AMA credit can be found on
the AMA website.
Once you have attended an EURETINA Meeting or Congress, you will receive a certificate of attendance which includes the number of CME Credits awarded for the attendance of the meeting.
